More Cows

More small ( 9x12...just in time for x-mas) cow paintings. I'm running out of cow titles...any suggestions?? Not quite finished these two. Just a few details to work on.

The Rose

Acryic on canvas 24x36
I stopped myself from over working this one as I really liked the feel I was achieving, and didn't want to ruin it. It took a lot of willpower to step away. These are not the colors I had intended. Please click on the image for full view to see the texture.

Porcelaine Equine Jewellry

Taking a small break from my painting to finish off some porcelain pieces for Christmas. If anyone is interested, I sell them for $49.95.Contact me if you would like to see them. ( 455-1236) Leighton Center , Studio Todorovic and the Galleria all sell my jewellry. Each piece is unique and fired in a kiln. They are accented with real crystals and the necklaces are done with ultra black swede and average 15-18 inches. It's not the best photograph...I will need to get some models...but you can gauge the size by the quarter. ( click on photo for a much larger than life view)

The Process

Each piece is created for individual expression, uniquely sculptured to reflect the inherent qualities of the porcelain clay. Hand built through various uses of slab and coil, each piece is kiln fired at least twice to 2200 degrees F, for strong durability. Texturing techniques include various materials such as lace, stamps, carving tools and handmade moulds. Each piece is fired with black stain and black gloss glaze. Accents may include Swarovski crystals.
