Rolling

acrylic 10x10
This tiny little painting caused me nothing but grief! I should have finished it in one short session instead it took me hours and hours...longer than all my larger paintings. I'm posting it but I'll probally end up changing it again. Either that or I'll just throw it away. Something is wrong and I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm going to a Jean Geddes workshop on critiquing your art this weekend. I'll definately bring this one.

Please don't throw it away or paint over it, I love the almost surreal quality of it!

I really like this! Nice depth, colours and texture. Don't despair!

Leave it be. I am drawn to this work as it has reminded me of solutions to painting a not too dissimilar landscape in the UK.

It has a boldness which will grow on you. Perhaps it mirrors back to you your compulsion to make things too perfect. Resistance is futile :)
