Everytime I travel to the island, I fall in love with the Arbutus tree all over again. This is the first time I've painted one but it won't be my last. What an artists dream, the bright warm and cool colors, interesting twistted shapes...such possiblities!

Beautiful, the colors of the Arbutus always amaze me, I love this tree, and am lucky enough to live on the West Coast.
